Operations in Peru

Sempra International has a nearly 80 percent interest in Peruvian Opportunity Company which controls Luz del Sur S.A., the largest electricity distributor in volume in Peru. Luz del Sur S.A. serves 900,000 customers in the southern zone of metropolitan Lima and delivers one-third of all electricity used in the country. Sempra International also has a controlling interest in Tecsur S.A., an energy services company.
